NO SHADOWS, NO REFLECTONS HERE
This is my last morning in the house that I’ve called home for 2 years. Soon I will have the road beneath my wheels and Louisiana in my sights. It is said that the south has a magnetic pull on all that have lived there, whether they like it or not. It is said that the south will pull you back no matter what you do to escape it.
I feel pull only towards a small town at Iowa’s edge. I feel pull only to the unfurling of my true self that being alone can provide me. I don’t seek riches or power or greatness anymore.
I only seek myself.
